Cookie Policy
Cookies and browser storage used by HSKScorer for sign-in and saved practice.
Browser storage on HSKScorer
We use sign-in session cookies to authenticate your account and an anonymous practice cookie to associate attempts with your browser and enforce usage limits. Preference storage remembers choices such as language and theme.
Local storage saves practice progress and timers. IndexedDB keeps unfinished recording copies so an interrupted upload can be retried. Session storage tracks local system checks. These items support the practice service and are not advertising profiles.
Your controls
You can inspect, block or remove cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in, saving, resuming or scoring practice. Deleting local site data does not delete records already stored on the server; contact support@hskscorer.com for help with deletion.
Microphone permission is separate from cookies and can be revoked in browser settings. See the privacy policy for scoring providers and recording retention.
