Understand your next step

Check listening and reading answers, review writing corrections, and see pronunciation and tone feedback. Your report points you toward your weakest section.

Practice estimates, clearly labelled

Scores use provisional HSK 2.0 conventions until CTI publishes HSK 3.0 scoring. They are not official results or a pass/fail decision.

Questions before you start

Are these official HSK papers?

No. These are original practice questions based on the 2025 HSK 3.0 syllabus and sample-paper format. HSKScorer is independent of CTI and CLEC.

Is the first mock test free?

Test 001 is free at each level, including the written test and speaking practice. You can start without an account. Register and verify your email to see detailed feedback. Test 002 requires a paid plan.

How are scores calculated?

Listening, reading and character answers are checked against an answer key. Writing uses AI feedback; speaking combines pronunciation assessment and content feedback. Scores are estimates based on HSK 2.0 conventions until official HSK 3.0 scoring rules are published.

Do I have to register for the speaking test too?

Our level 3 and level 4 mock tests include speaking practice. Official registration requirements vary by location: some centres allow written and speaking tests to be booked separately. Confirm the requirements for your date with your own test centre.

What do I need to practise?

Use a modern browser, headphones or speakers, a microphone for speaking, and a Chinese input method for writing. Progress is saved on this device. Recordings are used for feedback and deleted within 30 days.

Registration guidance checked 17 October 2026. See the CTI launch notice and an example of regional speaking registration guidance.
